Living in South Philly, we are die-hard Eagles fans. Even though our fan base is probably best known, albeit unfairly, for throwing snowballs at Santa Claus, we are passionate fans who travel well and have a strong desire to win Superbowls.
This is our year!
Unfortunately, based on most of the national media coverage, it seems as though only our fan base believes. Consistent with last week, the Eagles (14-3) are home underdogs for this week’s NFC Championship game against the Vikings (14-3). In fact, the Eagles were the first No. 1 seed in league history not favored to win its first playoff game.
Eagles embrace the underdog role, particularly when playing at home. This year, the Eagles are 9-1, at home, with their only loss being a meaningless game against the Cowboys.
It’s like Christmas!
